Scholarship – Theta Phi Alpha promotes academic success for each and every member. Our national office holds every chapter to an accountable standard. The Gamma Chi chapter has programs as well as other resources to ensure that our sisters can achieve their best academically. Through tutoring opportunities, incentives, and academic programming, we ensure every sister is confident in her scholastic ability. Our national foundation, The Theta Phi Alpha Foundation, awards scholarships to sisters who excel academically.
Leadership – Theta Phi Alpha allows members to develop their leadership potential. Sisters can serve on a committee for a position, plan a philanthropy event, a fundraising project, or manage a branch of the sisterhood; all of which are paired with life- long lessons that will carry into careers. Sisters are able to learn one of the most daunting tasks of collage- time management, as well as others such as public speaking and networking.
Philanthropy and Service – Theta Phi Alpha promotes philanthropic interests within all members. Our two national philanthropies are The House That Theta Phi Alpha Built and the Glenmary Home Missioners. The House that Theta Phi Alpha Built allows us to broaden our options for events because it is inclusive to any cause that brings aid to the homeless. Our sisters are very grateful to share the wonderful experience of giving to others as a family; we truly believe that one kind action can alter someone's day for the better.
Ever Loyal Ever Lasting- Our national tagline is "Ever Loyal Ever Lasting" which is exactly what the bonds made at the Gamma Chi chapter are. The friendships that blossom through the sorority are ones that are true and strong. Our sisterhood is incredibly diverse; however we know that what ties us together is our love for each other and our love for our chapter.
